What organizations and leadership roles do you hold?:
I am a Resident Assistant for the second year in Corbin Hall. I am also actively involved with Hall Government, dedicating myself with assisting my residents, and staying focused academically.
Why do you want to be Queen?
I would like to be Queen because I think it would be a great honor. I also think I would be a positive representative of WIU and would exclaim my cheerful Homecoming spirit.
What is your favorite Homecoming memory?
My favorite Homecoming memory was getting involved with the Homecoming activities last year as a first year Resident Assistant. I enjoyed myself so much that I want to get involved every year WIU has a Homecoming. I liked seeing how the students and community come together supporting the football team and having fun in a positive way as a university. I also liked seeing the alumni coming back to WIU to celebrate Homecoming and I would like to do the same when I graduate. Being a part of a university that comes together and take time to plan educational events makes me feel privileged. WIU'S Homecoming 2008 was the beginning of my involvement which will be one of my favorite Homecoming memories.
What is your favorite Homecoming Event and why?
My favorite Homecoming event is the Variety Show because it was fun watching organizations work collaboratively and entertains the crowd.
